details. ring us up to date. >> crews are still on the scene. york road is still shut down at cold spring. they were hoping to have it open by 6:00 this morning. continue to investigate the fire. the fire started just after 3:00 is morning. the fire started in one building and spread to three other units. four total buildings affected. at one point the flames were shooting out of the building when crews arrived. they got the fire under control within an they are now hour. investigating inside. no one was hurt. >> there were two buildings that were occupied. all occupants evacuated the building safely. >> the cause of the fire is under investigation.

we continue our coverage of a looming government shutdown. we're joined live with more. we were told about what will i when not keep running tomorrow if the shutdown happens. have it lawmakers learn anything from the last shutdown? >> that was 17 years ago. i was here 17 years ago. it was all about making a point. what was the point 17 years ago? no one remembers. the issues were very much the same. there was nothing in the final deal that could not have been negotiated a week before the shutdown happened. it is a colossal waste of time and resource. it costs money to stop and slow down the government.
